As summer of 2024 draws to a close, the members of the Mid-Island Radio Association took time to gather, once again, to enjoy each other’s company and re-conect. On Thursday, August 22nd, the members gathered at beautiful Rathtrevor Provincial Park (just outside of Parksville, BC) to share good food, stories and companionship. The event is a ‘family affair’ with spouses, partners and others welcomed. All in all, about 40 people attended and according to all accounts the weather was wonderful (not overly hot, which is great) and good times were enjoyed by all!
