This page will contain updates from each of the Directors on our Board. Updates will be provided as needed/appropriate, so not all Directors will update all the time.
Repeaters (Don Tolson) — Sept. 2026 — The VE7RPQ ((VHF) has now been removed from Mt. Cokely, but we have arranged with Arrowsmith SAR (the new owners of the site) to have the UHF link remain for future development. In the meantime, the VE7RBB repeater at Errington FH#1 is now fully linked with the VE7KU system, giving us reach all the way to the West Coast!. The Mt. Benson (Nanaimo) and QB Water Tower remote bases are now linked through VE7RBB and working great.
There have been no changes to our UHF repeater, VE7SYD, located on Mt. Arrowsmith and it appears to be operating normally.
Our DMR repeater, VE7MIR, (also @ the Errington FH) continues to be available. At this time, there are no plans to connect it to the internet.
