Morning Net
This social net opens on the VE7RPQ system at 08:45am local time and runs Sunday through Friday. Each day a new Net Controller takes the helm providing a forum for Amateur Radio Operators to gather and have a conversation lasting as long as the controller wants. You don’t need to be a member of MIRA to participate, visitors are very welcome.
This net follows a somewhat structured format, each daily net control operator is given some latitude as to the operation of the net but the emphasis is on in-formal and having fun!
If you’re interested in being a net controller on a regular or on a standby basis, get in touch with Dave (VE7DTE) the club’s president and Weekday Net coordinator through this email president@midislandamateurradioassociation.ca
NOTE: At the end of March, 2026 this net will be moving (along with the RBB repeater and its simplex bases) to the VE7KU repeater. For more information, please see the post on our home page.
